The hunt is a common event undertaken by the noble citizens of the land. Directed by a Master of the Hunt, a group gathers in the King's Forest to hunt various game. The aim is to kill as many animals, in the allotted time, as possible. Animals may only be killed with bows or other ranged weapons - the use of swords is forbidden, unless otherwise specified by the MOH before the hunt begins.

Ranged weapons are also handy on the frontlines for attacking and doing considerable damage to an enemy not within your immediate vicinity during Regimental Missions.

Most people consider it dishonourable to use a bow during a challenge and will take measure for retaliation.
