If you've been ignored by a snobbish, slow carriage driver with poor navigational skills one too many times, you may find that buying a horse will provide you with a relatively inexpensive companion who will aid you in traversing the city and its environs.

You will find a few stables in Paris where you may buy various kinds of horses, from the plodding but gentle pony to the awe-inspiring, lightening-fast warhorse. Take heed that stable masters will not allow you to embarrass yourself by buying a horse that requires more riding skill than you possess.
