Regiments are the primary unit of the army of Paris. Each operates under the guidance of an experienced colonel who reports directly to the General of the Army. Each regiment is also authorized to retain one commissioned captain, who serves as the Regimental Adjutant, and also one captain for each company
formed within the Regiment. Regiments also hold authorized soldiers of many non-commissioned ranks.
Choosing a regiment should be a deliberate process as it will have a large impact upon your character. Each colonel has distinct and sometimes opposing views on what is honourable or required of his or her soldiers. Friends may find themselves in an opposing regiment, and while the regiments all belong to the same Army, regimental conflicts are a fact of life. |
